We believe that the Bible in it's entirety is the only express, divinely inspired, written Word of God (II Peter 1:21). We believe that God's divine inspiration extends to all parts of the Scriptrues (II Timothy 3:15-17) and that they are the supreme and final authority for faith and life (I Thessalonians 2:13) and are a devine revelation of Jesus Christ (John 1:1-5, 10-14).
We believe in a person, God, who has revealed Himself both in nature and in Scripture (Hebrews 1:1-2). God is sovereign (Deuteronomy 6:4), loving (John 3:16), and living (Exodus 3:14), and it is He who created the universe and all things (Genesis 1:1). We believe that God is our loving Heavenly Father. He does not use sickness, disease, trials, tests, and tragedy to teach His children (James 1:13), but instead uses the precious Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:10, John 14:26) and His Word to instruct us in the ways of righteous life (2 Tim 3:16-17).
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and in His vicarious death for all mankind through His vicarious death on the Cross and shed blood. We believe in his bodily Ressurection, in His ascension ot the right hand of the Father (Heb. 1:3), and in His personal and visible return to Earth in power and glory (Rev. 1:5-8). We believe that because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8), that the Healings and miracles of the Bible days are available to believers today (John 10:16, Matt. 8: 16-17, Acts 5:16, James 5:14-16). We believe in the total redemptive sacrifice of Jesus. His sacrifice alone is responsible for freeing us from Hell, death, and the grave; giving us abundant and eternal life (John. 3:16). He was made poor that we may be made rich (2 Cor.
8:9). He was made sin that we might be made the righteousness of Gos in Him (2 Cor. 5:21). He was made a curse that we might be redeemed from his curse of the law (Gal. 3:13). He carried our sorrow that we could have joy (Isa. 53:4). He carried our pain that we might have comfort (Isa.
53:4). He was made sick that we might be whole and by his stripes we are healed (Isa. 53:5, 1 Pet. 2:24).
We believe the Holy Spirit was promised by God the Father (Acts 1:4) and sent by Jesus Christ (John 15:26) to be a comforter (John 14:16) and Teacher (John 14:26). He is the one who shows us the great and mighty things of the Lord (Jer. 33:3, John 16:15). We believe that by the personal indwelling of the Holy Spirt, the
Christian is enabled to live a Godly life and is empowered to carry out the commission of our Lord and Saviour (Acts 1:8). We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and that us evidenced by the initial sign of speaking in tounges, which is the first gift from the Holy Spirit given to today's Church (Acts 2:4-8, Acts 8:12- 19, Acts 10:44-48).
We believe that all men are lost in Sin (Rom. 3:23) because of the disobedience of Adam (Rom. 512) and that salvation is possible only through the atoning blood shed by Jesus Christ (Roman 3:24-25), death and ressurection of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:8-11). We believe that God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that whoever believs in Himm should not perish, but should have everlasting life (John 3:16). We believe that salvation is given to each believer, through a relationship with the Holy Trinity. We believe that Jesus was raised from the dead by God (Acts 13:29-30). We further believe that a person's salvation is through the absolute belief (Eph. 2:8) and verbal confession (Romans 10:9-10) of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of thier life. You must be
Born Again! (John 3:7)
We believe that mab was created in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 1:26) to be friends and family with God. We believe that he was tampered with by Satan and fell to Sin when Adam chose to disobey God and eat the Forbidden Fruit (Gen. 3) We further believe that because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature thereafter, regenration by the Holy Spirit is necessary for salvation (John 3:3-7, 2 Cor. 5:17). We also believe that the promises, principles, and teachings of God's Word are for every man. We believe God has a desitny for every man (Jer. 29:11, Eph. 2:10). We believe that God's ultimate goal for Man is to be a loving family together, with Him forever. (1 John 3:1-2).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church (Eph. 5:23). We believe that the Church is made up of all those who believe in and follow Christ. We believe that the Church is the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27-28) in the world today with the same mission and purpose that He has during His physical Earthly ministry (Matt. 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20, Acts 1:8- 9). We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit in the local
Church (1 Cor. 12-14) and that we are instructed not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. (Heb. 10:25)
We believe that the believer's baptism by immersion in water (Col. 2:12) is the first required step of obedience in any convert's New Oife. It is the first outward sign of an Inward change. Baptism in the name of the Holy Trinity (Matt. 28:19) is the rite of ordinance and is therefore a personal statement of faith made only after accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. (Acts 2:41).
We believe that communion is a distinctive rite of worship. Communion was instituted by our Lord upon the eve of his atoning death (1 Cor.
11:23) It is a ceremonial partaking of bread and wine, which having been presented before God the Father in thankful memorial in a time of tribute and personal as well as collective rememberance of our Lord Jesus
Christ's anointing sacrifice. We believe Communion may only be recieved by an obedient believer in the Lord Jesus Christ whom has his sins forgiven and after examining his own heart, finds it right with God (1
Cor. 10:16 11:27-32)
We believe that in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ, each and every believer is commanded to actively participate in the building of God's Kingdom by participating in the "Great Commision" given to us by Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20, Mark16:15-18, Acts 1:8). As followers of Christ we are called to proclaim God's Word and message of salvation, victory and liberty to all.
